Refund Policy

If you would like to change your mind on your order, you can! You have 14 days after you have ordered to tell us you would like to be refunded. You have 14 days to contact us at aftersales@tweaq.co to be eligible for a refund. We will notify you once we’ve received your notification to be refunded, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.

Warranty Terms Policy 

Tweaq Two-Year Limited Warranty for Rise

Warranty Period:  This warranty lasts for two years from the date of original purchase of Rise

Who is Covered: This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable.

What is Covered: Tweaq warrants Rise against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two years.

What is Not Covered:

1. Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, or neglect.

2. Modifications or repairs not performed by Tweaq or its authorised service representatives.

3. Normal wear and tear.

4. Damage from external causes such as floods, storms, fires, sand, dirt, earthquakes, acts of God, or exposure to sunlight, weather, moisture, heat, or corrosive environments.

5. Damage due to improper installation, operation, or maintenance not in accordance with product instructions.

Remedies: If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, Tweaq will, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, either:

1. Repair the product at no charge using new parts or parts that are equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

2. Exchange the product with a functional equivalent product that is new or equivalent to new in performance and reliability.

3. Refund the purchase price of the product.

How to Obtain Service: To obtain warranty service, contact Tweaq customer service for instructions and a return authorization.

Limitations: THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Tweaq DOES NOT ASSUME ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

Governing Law: This warranty is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the product was purchased.

Shipping Policy

We will start shipping products as of December 1st 2023. 

We ship Worldwide with our partner UPS. Shipping is FREE. xt

You will receive e-mail confirmations throughout your products journey to be updated on its status. If you do not receive these e-mails, please check your spams or contact us for confirmation. 

Please make sure you have entered the correct address. Our logistics’ partner will review your details, but we are not responsible for non-delivery due to errors in the address that you provide. If an order is returned due to an incorrect address contact us to rearrange the shipping. 

Conditions of Usage 

  1. General usage conditions

Rise handle sets and Tweaq cartridge sets should always be stored and used under the following conditions:

  • Interior, dust-free, and dry environment with a recommended temperature between 15-25°C.

  • Protected from high and low temperatures.

  • Protected from humidity.

  1. Usage conditions

Material provided by Tweaq post installation:

  • Rise sets which include a pair of self-disinfecting door handles. 

  • Filled and charged cartridges.

  • A tool for the maintenance: two magnets to open the casing and a tool with pins to replace the sponge inside the ring. 

Installation conditions

  • Rise has been developed to be installed on any standard interior door with a free space above the handle (the locking mechanism must be below) 

  • Rise does not have a locking mechanism. 

  • The door on which the installation is performed should be a flat surface. 

Device configuration & maintenance

  • Rise can connect to your Wi-Fi for a better experience and software updates. 

  • For data protection, use a secure password when modifying the existing password on your personal account (at least 1 capital letter, 1 symbol, 1 digit number)

  • Only replace the cartridges when they are empty to avoid malfunctions

  • Only use a a disinfectant liquid recommended or provided by Tweaq. 

  • The sponge inside the ring is replaceable and should be replaced at least at the same time as the cartridge. If Rise is installed and used in dirty, dusty, greasy conditions, the sponge might need to be replaced more frequently. 

  • The magnetic tool has the sole purpose to open the casing (with the two magnetic pieces) and to replace the sponge (with the four pin piece). Do not use the maintenance tool for any other purpose which could lead to product damages, malfunctions and could be dangerous. 

  1. Cautions 


  • Rise fits any standard door containing a sprung latch system. Rise is provided with a 7x7mm spindle and its 8x8mm adapter to fit standard interior doors.

  • Rise should only be installed on interior door. 


  • Once a new cartridge has been installed, do not replace it until it is empty. Such action could lead to malfunctions. 

  • Do not try to drink the disinfectant liquid 

  • Do not try to interfere with the cartridge’s design. This could lead to malfunctions and could be dangerous. 

  • Rise is a device developed to only properly function in an interior setting. If water gets in contact with the device, it may cause a malfunction. If Rise needs to be cleaned, do not spray it with a liquid solution. A humidified cloth is recommended to avoid any damages. 


  • Avoid touching Rise with dirty or greasy hands to ensure a proper self-disinfection of the product. 

  • Do not try to interfere with the product design: do not paint it or perform any other action which would modify the appearance of Rise and could lead to malfunctions.

  • Take all the necessary precautions to interact with Rise in the safest way, especially during maintenance and installation since it contains electronic and liquid components.

  • Make sure to properly replace the cartridge following the instructions to avoid any malfunction. The cover lid must be put back into place properly to avoid malfunctions or theft. 

  • Any action which is not recommended by Tweaq could lead to malfunctions, which will cancel the product warranty immediately.
